Being a growth company, a key to success is our ability to transform people from lone rangers to team players. Otherwise we will get stuck and stop evolving. Being team players stretches everyone and causes some aches and pain, but in the end of the day it makes us all better. I spend most of my time silently coaching, shaping conversations, encouraging action and enabling a collaborative environment. The result are some innovative solutions around how we work, how problems are solved and in the long run, how products are made and what they can do. I lead by putting others into positions where they can excel, often before they now they can do so. I give the fun stuff to others and eat more of the boring but necessary things myself.×
Generally, we are quite adventure seeking and some kind of crazy people and we want to be a part of a journey in shaping the world in some sense. Nepa can be quite a demanding workspace. Not so much because of the expectations of you as an individual but because of your own expectations of what Nepa can achieve. We want to see our vision of Nepa come true and we work really hard to make that happen.
It’s also very rewarding to work at Nepa. There are many people at Nepa that share the same expectations of what Nepa can achieve. When I accomplish certain things together with my colleagues I get very happy and proud about it. If I were to characterize working at Nepa in a number of words they would be – exiting, tough, frustrating, “in it together”, innovative, action-oriented, big wins, small wins, small fails, big fails.
A reason why Nepa is growing so fast is because of our mindset of creating opportunities rather than waiting for them to appear. I enjoy working in an environment where so many people has that drive – taking charge of our own destiny and creating our own future. It also makes you develop a lot as a person.×
A working week at Nepa is not necessarily as you planned it to be. The projects I work in are either in a delivery phase and then I work really close to my other team members, constantly facing and solving a spread of different challenges or they are in a development phase where new features need to be implemented and synchronized between different teams that together create our final products that we deliver to our clients. When I was recruited to Nepa, the recruitment process was as the work at Nepa is – very flexible, not restricted by specific rules and processes, but rather adaptive to my specific situation. And it was really fast! Nepa is fast, we are a growth company and for me personally, this fast growth means a lot of work. That’s a challenge of course, but a very pleasant one and it forces me to rethink how to prioritize my upcoming tasks which leads to a very flexible workflow.×
Since Nepa focuses a lot on the individual and the personal character when recruiting, my start at Nepa was really easy and I felt I could fit in from day one. Nepa is a fast growing company and offers early exposure to management opportunities, which is quite rare if you ask me and also a very attractive opportunity, especially when you haven´t been out in the industry for so long. I love my work at Nepa and having the opportunity to collaborate with great colleagues across a number of countries.×
I always try to think about new ways to do things so that I can maximize value for our clients. It rubs off on Nepa as well for that matter. I see myself and my team as a pool of knowledge where we leverage ourselves with the help and interaction from one another. I´m surrounded by people with amazing knowledge, skills and a tangible team spirit which makes it possible to develop not only the team and client relationship but also leverage each other’s’ skills set. I really like my job and the drive to develop myself.×
After my previous experience in the Swedish industry, I wanted to be a part of something with more speed and ability to evolve. I don´t have any bad words about the core industries in Sweden, but I needed something else. The recruitment process ran very smooth. Since I lived in Umeå in the northern parts of Sweden when I applied to Nepa, we started with two Skype interviews and the final interview at the office in Stockholm. It felt it was a very good interaction between me and the interviewers, nothing like a stiff Q & A interview.
The role as an analyst is both a good match to my education and it fulfilled my demand for a job including statistics. Here at Nepa, more or less everyone has an analytical mindset but we also chitchat over a coffee talking about all and nothing under the moon. “Nepians” are playing in the top league of kindness and socialness.×
I love freedom under responsibility, to be challenged and to challenge others and excisting processes. I strive to do the best job I can do, rather than just to get the job done. It´s a nice feeling to be a part of a great company culture that spreads positive energy in various ways. One of the things I like most is the speed we have at Nepa and the many opportunities to grow as the company grows. We also have a considerable flexibility when it comes to developing or changing roles at Nepa.×
From my first interview to a signed contract it didn´t take more than three weeks. It went really smooth and fast. Although I haven´t been at Nepa for so long I think that there are a few personal characteristics that will make you fit in well at this fast growing company – you like to take own initiatives and be proactive, you keep your calm and analytical attitude even when conditions are getting a bit uncertain. And last but not least, that you are a true team player.×
Although it´s not stated, there is a no limits-mindset at Nepa when it comes to what kind of projects I’m allowed to take on. There is always new exciting stuff to do and I get responsibility from the start. It´s very much up to me and that´s how we grow. As there are new challenges every day, the best way to tackle them is by embracing change, collaborating with my colleagues and capturing the positive energy that they have.×
I love to be part of a winning team and there is a constant stream of small wins that we always share between the bigger ones here at Nepa. As we historically have been good at succeeding, this has created a very strong and innovative can do-mentality, even in situations that are entirely new to us and where we don´t have full control over from the start and know how to move into new territory. This attitude is greatly appreciated from our clients – they know that they always get our help when they face new challenges.
Nepa is full of smiling people. Everyone here wants to win and we do that by being truly collaborative and by having a flexible mindset – we rarely get stuck!×
Nepa is looking to enhance our Research and Analytics production unit in India into a full-fledged Centre of Excellence. You will lead, inspire and motivate a young team of 50 analysts and researchers.
When a problem occurs, it´s yours and mine problem, not someone else's. At Nepa, we take personal responsibility to solve problems rather than to dwell on them. That´s how we are.
We know that we achieve more as a team. When you're certain that each person on your team has your back, both your own job satisfaction and your performance will skyrocket.
