Nepa’s MMM captures both the direct short-term effects and the long-term brand impact of marketing activities on conversions. This dual approach ensures a comprehensive understanding of how media investments contribute to brand equity and sales over time – decreasing the risk of overestimating the short-term effects. We use brand tracking KPI as a proxy, reflecting changes in brand equity over time. However, in the model, the ultimate output remains sales, ensuring that brand-building efforts are linked to actual business impact and you can report a monetary value of branding efforts.

We prioritize speed without compromising accuracy. Once we have built your unique model, ongoing updates are fast and seamless—new data is integrated on a weekly or monthly basis, with results typically available within days. These insights are delivered directly through our dashboard, enabling you to make timely, data-driven decisions.

At a minimum, you’ll need 2-3 years of historical data on media spend, promotions, and sales or conversions. Additional data on direct marketing, special events, pricing, distribution, and competitor activity is highly beneficial to capture the broader business context.

To measure the long-term impact of investments, continuous brand tracking data on key funnel KPIs is also required.

External factors like weather, holidays, salary weeks and economic trends such as inflation are always included in our models—we have access to this data, so you don’t need to provide it. Seasonality effects are predicted within the model.

For ongoing data ingestion, we collaborate with you to set up a streamlined data pipeline that minimizes manual work.
